If the messages come from the XSLT engine, then it's up to you to handle
them. (I cannot help you because I don't know how to do that.)

If the messages come from XFC, then please make sure to implement and
register a com.xmlmind.fo.converter.ErrorHandler. See

Note that to my knowledge, once a proper
com.xmlmind.fo.converter.ErrorHandler has been registered, XFC will not
print any message on System.out or on System.err.
