Sorry, in my previous mail I forgot to mention I was generating .docx files. But it should work in all cases of course. I did notice this note in the changes page on the website:
Bug fixes (RTF) * Right border on table cells spanning multiple columns was not handled properly, possibly resulting in a missing border. It sure looks like this issue, but this is a much older version and not in the format I was generating either.
