Support the syntaxdiagram element by converting it on the fly to SVG
graphics.

(XMLmind DITA Converter is the ``DITA conversion engine'' which is
embedded in XMLmind XSL Utility.)

* There is currently no way to produce syntax diagrams out of DITA
documents using any of our tools.

* Getting production quality ``railroad track''-style syntax diagrams
(as good or better than your syntax-diagram.bmp attachment) requires a
pretty involved development (in Java, not in XSLT).

* We currently have no funding to implement what we consider to be a
high-end feature.

* Therefore I would simply suggest to drop syntax diagrams specified
using DITA elements and instead draw them by hand (i.e. using Visio,
CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator or InkScape) and export your drawings as
SVG (Vector graphics).
