I would like to purchase a license for integration of XFC into a web
application that we are developing for users inside of our company.
Currently, the application is being hosted on Amazon (AWS). Can you
please tell me which license I would need to purchase? It seems that if
I only have the application running on 1 server, that I would require
the “Server” License, however, if I have multiple environments set up
(test, qa, dev, staging, et) that I would require a “Site” license.
Please advise.

The Server and Site Licenses do not apply to running our software in the Cloud. They apply to *well-identified* *physical* servers (no matter their number of processors, processor cores or use of virtualization software), whether located at your offices or hosted by a ``traditional web hoster''.

The only license which applies to your case is the Developer License which is basically an unrestricted deployment license.

See table in http://www.xmlmind.com/foconverter/proedition.html

See http://www.xmlmind.com/foconverter/license_dev.html

We indeed need to update our web site and also the terms of our licenses to make this crystal clear, as the Cloud deployment case is likely to become a common one.
