If the preferred application uses parameters (xterm "%s" -fa monospace -fs 9)
then the parameters aren't passed to the application).
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Set this as the default terminal: xterm "%s" -fa monospace -fs 9
2. Run Terminal from the Xfce 4 main menu
Actual Results:
xterm starts but not with font monospace size 9
Expected Results:
xterm should start with font monospace size 9
This command works as expected if I put it in a launcher.
