I'm trying to get the compositor working but I seem to have picked up a bug. As
soon as I click 'enable display composition' everything seems to vanish, almost
as if xfce crashes completely. Although I can still move my mouse around my
grey desktop and the cursor changes as I hover my mouse over my panels and
different windows.. Which seems that everything is still there.
I've tried restarting xfce when this happens and it loads correctly. I even
hear the system beep when the xfce tips load but nothing can be seen. It's
almost like everything still loads and is still there but it's just full
transparency.
