If an user want to *lock* the screen he has to make sure the screensaver is
started before, sure. But I don't think this corner case should affect all
other users. Just use xdg-screensaver; xflock4 or whatever. Even better would
be a way to start the screensaver directly in locked state (which is really
what you want).
