i think you meant _glib_ here. glibc is something else :)

4.10 was released a year ago. If the issue is really in xfce4-session and a fix
is a found, there will be a bugfix release of it.

The problem was definitely caused by various os/distributions upgrading their
glib version to 2.36, and the crashes are a consequence of this.
