Keith Rozett <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |[email protected] --- Comment #2 from Keith Rozett <[email protected]> --- I just wanted to chime in, because I was having the same problem Chris described. In my case, though, is this has nothing to do with Thunar. Rather, it was some kind of conflict between GTK widgets and IBus. When using IBus as my input method, any GTK widget that allowed searching would miss the first letter of the search. I guess IBus was eating it somehow. I tested this with a simple TreeView app (http://scentric.net/tutorial/ch-treeview.html). I'm doing further research to see if it's XFCE-specific. So far I've got a vanilla Xubuntu install with IBus as the input method, and that's enough to trigger the bug. I'm going to see if it happens with Ubuntu, with a non-Ubuntu-based XFCE install, etc. Not sure how deep this rabbit hole goes... -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ Xfce-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://mail.xfce.org/mailman/listinfo/xfce-bugs
