Bug ID: 13718
Summary: Thunar freezes when showing a directory where
TeXStudio compiles a .tex-File
Classification: Xfce Core
Product: Thunar
Version: 1.6.11
Hardware: PC (x86_64)
OS: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: Medium
Component: General
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
QA Contact: [email protected]
CC: [email protected], [email protected]
Target Milestone: 1.8.0
If I am working on LaTeX file using the TeXStudio software and I try to compile
any .tex-File in TeXStudio, any Thunar-Window that displays the directory where
the .tex file is and the .pdf-Result will be created, freezes and does not
react to any mouse-actions.
The Compiler I am using in Tex-Studio is pdflatex. "pdflatex --version" results
in the following output:
pdfTeX 3.14159265-2.6-1.40.16 (TeX Live 2015/Debian)
kpathsea version 6.2.1

Compiled with libpng 1.6.17; using libpng 1.6.17
Compiled with zlib 1.2.8; using zlib 1.2.8
Compiled with poppler version 0.41.0
I am using TexStudio in version 2.10.8
According to "thunar --version" I am using Thunar 1.6.11 (Xfce 4.12)
My Operating System is Xubuntu 16.04 (LTS)
Please excuse any errors in my english text, I am not a native speaker.
I also apologise if "General" does not refer to the right Component. I do not
have any knowledge about Thunar or similliar programms, so I do not know what
SBR, TPA or UCA are, maybe this Bug would fit better to one of this components.
