At least for local file systems, "rm "needs only write+execute permission on
the parent directory. The permissions of the file itself are irrelevant.

This will neither work with thunar, nor with BASH, mc, xfe, ...

Do you use some kind of exotic file-system locally ?

On NFS I have to test .. will do so later on.
