boxes not scaling to the window

Request for Enhancement.
This is probably a bug, but what ever we want to call it.
When I am editing a (sessions and) start up command, I can expand the widows,
but the blocks do not expand with the windows, making editing a little tiny
block "cumbersome". I will include a screen shot.
