Bug ID: 15450 Summary: xfce4-display-settings --minimal window cannot be resized and truncates captions although there is plenty of space. Classification: Xfce Core Product: Xfce4-settings Version: 4.12.1 Hardware: PC (x86_64) OS: Linux Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: Medium Component: Display Settings Assignee: xfce-bugs@xfce.org Reporter: lockyw...@gmail.com Target Milestone: Xfce 4.14 Created attachment 8569 --> https://bugzilla.xfce.org/attachment.cgi?id=8569&action=edit Screenshot of a problem -- a small settings window. The problem can be seen on the screenshot attached. I use a big font. (For many reasons, such as: I often need to read Chinese, I have a big monitor with a bad resolution and a low dpi of 60, I am very short-sighted, -8.0 dioptres.) The font is WenQuan Micro Hei, size 16 (scaled, as it is a vector font). (I also have a monitor with a dpi of 112, which is below the first one. The screenshot is taken with an xfce4-screenshooter) Xfce manages to deal well with such a big font almost everywhere, but xfce4-display-settings --minimal is an exception, in particular, the window cannot be resized manually, and being small, has long sentences truncated. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ Xfce-bugs mailing list Xfce-bugs@xfce.org https://mail.xfce.org/mailman/listinfo/xfce-bugs
