`xfce4-popup-applicationsmenu` seems to be broken with 1.14 upgrade.
Previously, if you assign a key combination for it, the following sequence
worked correctly:
* open the menu
* press Esc to close it
* open the menu
Now, however, either the first attempt or the second will not work. The focus
remains on the "Applications Menu" panel item. It's visualized as a pressed
button, but the menu is nowhere to see. In this state, invoking
`xfce4-popup-applicationsmenu` via key combination will instead act as a
left-click on the Desktop background.
