When accessing user added sub menu applications (button to the right of main
launcher showing downwards expand arrow) the active lit state of the button
remains lit if closing the sub-menu launcher by clicking on the desktop.
Sweeping across the panel launchers with the mouse pointer will reset them back
to normal state. Closing the buttons manually when entering and leaving the
applications sub menu works correctly as expected. This odd behaviour has been
present since the move to GTK3. Still present in version 4.14.
