And this eager shortcut behavior causes not just harmless inconvenience but also systematic problems beyond xfce components. For example, assigning ctrl+shift (e.g. to keyboard switching) disables all the common shorcuts involving ctrl+shirt (e.g. restore closed window in Firefox/Chrome).
