When I select a desktop icon by clicking on it, I notice large increase in CPU
usage by xfdesktop to ~40-50% CPU. The higher CPU usage persists while using
other applications and roughly doubles my battery drain rate.
The CPU usage only drops after the icon is unselected by clicking on the
background.
xfdesktop --version
This is xfdesktop version 4.14.1, running on Xfce 4.14.
Built with GTK+ 3.24.12, linked with GTK+ 3.24.12.
Build options:
Desktop Menu: enabled
Desktop Icons: enabled
Desktop File Icons: enabled
uname -a
