Debian 9 uses thunar 1.6.11 .. that's from the stoneage. Even for the xfce4.12 branch, there is already thunar 1.6.18 available ... same for CentOS 7. Thunar 1.6.x is out of support from my side. Before I start installing & testing a vm, please just answer the remaining questions I asked above (I prefer short and pregnant answers): - Does the bug show with default Greybird / Adwaita theme ? - Does the bug show with some different icon theme ? - Does the bug show when another monitor resolution is selected ? - You are using some high-res monitor ? (I am currently using a debian 11 on all of my maschines, and I used to run debian 10 before .. never saw that bug.
