Hardware:
* Notebook with i915 driver, Full HD IPS panel
* External monitor attached via VGA, 1920x1200
Procedure to reproduce:
Have notebook closed
Attach external monitor
open notebook screen
open xfce4-display-settings
set external monitor to primary
disable notebook monitor
Wait for screen to switch to external display
See dialogue box of xfce4-display-settings frozen; no graphics in it are
rendered
Waiting for some time "fixes" the issue
So does killing the process
