The small script 'xflock4' acts as a wrapper and tries to lock the > screen using your installed screen locker. > > https://git.xfce.org/xfce/xfce4-session/tree/scripts/xflock4 Thanks. /usr/bin/xflock4 is installed with root ownership, no other access. I ran a copy I was sent (thanks for that), with user ownership, and it did not lock the screen but did flash something too brief to read. sudo /usr/bin/xflock4 did nothing, even no error reported. This is my first serious bug to deal with. This should have been configured to work for the install, and now any fix is unclear to me. So what is blocking it, how can that be fixed, and once successful, will the OS installer have the new version of whatever or what needs to be done on that ? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ Xfce-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://mail.xfce.org/mailman/listinfo/xfce-bugs
