alexxcons <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |[email protected] Status|NEW |RESOLVED Resolution|--- |DUPLICATE --- Comment #1 from alexxcons <[email protected]> --- Thanks for reporting ! I generally would agree that a filter-feature would be nice, though what you propose (a multi-tree) looks very complex. E.g. it's not that easy to tell programmatically which file-types belong to the category "image", "archive", etc. .. and I dont want to maintain lists. I would keep it more simple .. e.g. you could write .png into a filter text field. That would show you all .png files. Like e.g. dolphin currently does. I dont think that a filter feature would be used often enough to justify a place in the - already crowded - context menu. IMO should be sufficient to access filtering via the menu (or via shortcut) Since we already have a bug regarding a filter feature, I will close this one. Patches on the original bug would be very welcome ! (I will not have time to work on it in the near future) *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 2316 *** -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ Xfce-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://mail.xfce.org/mailman/listinfo/xfce-bugs
