Can one please confirm that it's not possible to only display the 'Text' in
the xfce4-places-plugin (1.3.0) when used with Xfce 4.10?

Hi Marcus - just to clarify - what do you mean by only display the
'Text'? As in how it shows up on the panel when added? If so, yes it
is possible. See attached for how mine looks.
Yes, that's exactly what I meant ;)
It just gets lost after re-login, here, falling back to the default view
which is just the icon.
