I upgraded yesterday via yum.

I had to manually
cd /lib/systemd/system/
ln -s lightdm.service display-manager.service

Don't know if it's just an expected issue after upgrading via yum or if it's a packaging issue somewhere.

Another thing is a heads up that the default gtk, icon and cursor themes and the lack of images in menus/buttons are set by the adwaita gtk2/3 packages in /etc/gtk-2.0/gtkrc and /etc/gtk-3.0/settings.ini Just saying in case anyone wonders where the system-wide gtk defaults are and what packages sets them.
