For my personal speaking, I do not need those plugins and think I never did. But maybe they could be useful for users still using a modulating demulator? Sorry, just kidding. Let those goodies die in peace. :) The only one I could imagine to be necessary to keep and may have a use case is xfce4-notes-plugin. Maybe we should file any upstream bugs to request a port to libxfce4ui: https://bugzilla.xfce.org/show_bug.cgi?id=11623 Oh well, and the timer plugin. It should be deprecated cause of xfce4-hamster-plugin that has more features.
