Automation is something we can do, but it's not a magic bullet: if you automate the tests, instead of spending your time running them, you get to spend your time managing the automation :) So it is still a problem to have a huge set of apps to test, because then you will have a huge set of automated tests to manage, and GUI apps tend to change in ways that break automation quite often. So whether the tests are manual or automated, it is still valuable to consider the questions Lukas presented. -- Adam Williamson Fedora QA Community Monkey IRC: adamw | Twitter: AdamW_Fedora | identi.ca: adamwfedora http://www.happyassassin.net _______________________________________________ xfce mailing list -- [email protected] To unsubscribe send an email to [email protected] Fedora Code of Conduct: https://getfedora.org/code-of-conduct.html List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/[email protected]
