The X server can't find fonts. You either need to change the fontpath lines in XF86Config-4, or run a font server. The simplest thing is to run a font server, since Red Hat has already put a font search path in /etc/X11/fs/config Or, you can look at that file, and take the font search path (after catalogue= ) and make each entry in the catalogue= list a FontPath line in XF86Config-4. You might want to make adjustments in the ordering or whatnot, but doing this should get you going. You can leave the unix/:7100 line at the top of the list -- it will be ignored if a font server is not available. _______________________________________________ XFree86 mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://XFree86.Org/mailman/listinfo/xfree86
