Hello, I am trying to configure XFree86 for a NVIDIA GeForce4 MMX 440 graphic card.
I have tried 2 ways : - from binaries RPM : The X server crashes "failed to initialize NVdriver" - from tarballs : The linker fails because of the binary "nv-kernel.o" (File format not recognized) I have tried several (not all) version number for NVIDIA_kernel and NVIDIA_GLX XFree86 version : 4.2.0 (from mandrake 8.2) I don't know what to do ... Please help !!!
