I wish to support the suggestion which has already been posted: the message in the log file stating that one should post the log in case of trouble should be amended as well as the advice to switch to the newest server. The latter for newbies is an invitation for troubles. In addition it is the wrong advice: for some old graphic cards X 3.3.6 is definitely better than X 4.x.x (unless something changed within the last three months...). I would suggest that an advice to check the HOWTOs and a couple of links (http://www.linux-laptop.net/ for instance) would decrease the traffic on this list significantly (if only by having people post the relevant information at once instead of posting the log, being asked the info and then posting it which multiply the traffic by 3...)
