Hi. I set the resolution to 800cpi: "./logitech-resolution -s 800" When I check the resolution I get: "001/002 046D/C00E M-BJ58 Wheel Mouse Optical Resolution: 4 (800cpi)" After a reboot it's again 400cpi. But nevertheless the way the mouse has to pass on the table is halved if the resolution is set to 800cpi and the cursor moves from the left to the right border. So I guess the mouse can do 800cpi. How can the resolution be set to 800cpi?
The cursor is moving smoothly if the priority is changed: "renice -10 pid_of_XFree". But I have to do it after each reboot. Where can I change the default priority of X? Thanks for your help.
