XFree86 4.2.0, the version of XFree86 which comes with Red Hat
Linux 8.0, does not support the Intel i845 integrated graphics
adaptor. The XFree86 4.2.1 release does not either.

Support for this chipset has been developed and is in the XFree86
CVS repository. It will be supported in the next release of Red
Hat Linux, and RPM packages of CVS XFree86 are available in Red
Hat rawhide for testing on non production systems.
