They would at least have /something/ on the screen. If I were a newbie I'd rather have to wrestle with Mozilla/Opera/Phoenix/Galeon/Konqueror with ugly fonts while searching for info than having a text screen that would be just as useful as a non-existent monitor ;) (Yes, it's not a good solution - I suggested it partly as a provocation and apparently it worked :) ) > I don't like the idea of the X server guessing where fonts are > either.
