There are deb packages of CVS XFree86 which may or may not solve the problem for you. You can find them at: deb http://capricorn.woot.net/~daniels/current/sid/$(ARCH) ./ install xlibs, xlibs-dev with --force-overwrite, this is harmless and will be fixed in -2.
