Hi
I upgraded XFree to 4.2.99 because I'm having problems with my new
graphics card and/or motherboard combination: I can start X, but i
cannot change to a text console anymore, the screen stays black, then.
I'm using an Nvidia Geforce MX440 on an Asus A7N8X Deluxe board,
running Kernel 2.4.21-pre3 with nvidia kernel and GLX modules installed.
After upgrading, the above mentioned problem still exists and (at least)
two new have come: RedHat's "up2date" and the game "Uplink" don't run
anymore. (Verified, that this is caused by XFree, because after
downgrading, they run again.)
Any hint for one of those problems?
