Hmm, if those did not work that might be normal.
You might need it compiled with the same compiler.
Maybe its only gcc 2.xx - but i am guessing.

extract it and then do a "make World" and a "make install".
I just dont know if that will install the kernel modules as well.
no more ideas right now.
