my system gets halted/hung when i attempt to access the graphics on my s3virge. booting in text mode works fine. i had to add "skipddc" to the install. i can get the vga driver in 320x200 mode to run. however any attempt to use a s3virge driver causes my laptop to hang. i was running rh7.1 or 7.2 (XFree 4.0.2, i think) and all worked fine. now with rh 8.0 (XFree 4.2) i am unable to use the s3virge driver, any suggestions?
