>From my recent experience with the se nodeadkeys keymap I can tell you
that the file which needs to be fixed are

/usr/lib/X11/xkb/symbols/pc/si

or one of the included files if the error is generic for a whole group
of keymaps.

Based on your descripion of the location and output of the failing keys
these seems to be the same as in the swedish map (where they do work).
In such case

    key <AB10>  { [ minus, underscore, dead_belowdot, dead_abovedot ] };

    key <KPDL>  { [ KP_Delete, KP_Separator ] };


should help..


Then to activate your changes just run "setxkbmap si" or use one of the
keymap selection tool GUIs to temporarily switch to another keymap and
back..
