[XFree86] Xfree86 on Alpha platform?

Can anyone tell me where I can find information on XFree86 support for DEC Alpha based machines. I am trying to troubleshoot X problems on an alpha server but I can't find any info on this platform. Since X was ported to the Alpha platform I would guess there must be some documentation on this implementation. Thanks.
