At least on Linux PPC, it appears as though XF86CardDrivers in my host.def isn't getting read. It used to work with this same configuration a couple of months ago. I set XF86CardDrivers to "nv" in the host.def but in the /drivers directory XF86CardDrivers is the list from xfree86.cf.
