REPORT:

Installation of your binary distibution went fine, with one exception:

I installed as root having su'd from a user with umask 007. The install
script did not set umask, so all the directories and files were
unreadable by non-root users. Putting a line

umask 022

at the head of the script Xinstall.sh cured this.

One other item I have noticed:

xclock silently ignores settings for hands, foreground and highlight,
but does respond to background. Thus, invocation with the following
command line:

xclock -fg white -bg DarkSlateGrey -hd orange -hl yellow -update 1

results in a virtually unreadable clock on the local display.

However, running the same commandline on the same machine but over a
LAN, gives a nice-looking clock on the remote display running
