Hi I have the problem with dual desktop/display configuration. My system configuration is: ASUS L3800C notebook (ATI Radeon Mobility M7) RedHat 7.3 (updated) XFree86 4.2.0 (from RPM) KDE 3.0 KDM as the display/login manager Initial runlevel 5
Primary display is my TFT (:0.0) second is connected monitor (:0.1). I prefer to work in dual desktop configuration (not xinerama). Everything works fine when I connect the monitor cable after the X startup. echo $DISPLAY shows correct values, different for every display. But when I start the system with monitor plugged in, there are strange things happening. 1. My primary display (:0.0) is set to monitor 2. There is nothing shown on TFT 3. as result of pressing C TRL+ALT+F1 there is nothing shown on both monitors Please help me. Regards -- Daniel Łaś <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> BGUO
