Hello @ all, i do have problems containing the refresh rate (vertical and horizontal) of my monitor. its everytime the same vert. refreshrate (59.xx hz) and horiz (64.xx khz), creating modelines doesnt cause anything. like i ve said in the subject line, i got an ati radeon 9000. The only driver i can use is the <vesa> driver. i think thats causing the problem. i tried to install the ati radeon 9000 driver, but the conflicts which apeared while installation, caused the aborting... why can i use the svga ,ati , radeon driver? or do i have to wait for a newer version of xfree86 // at the moment i use version 4.2.0 , by the way i tried to update my xfree , but there was also a failure when i tried to start x. i became a list like this:
