- login as first user on tty1 - startx -- :0& - <CTRL><ALT>F1 to return to tty1 - su - seconduser - enter password - startx -- :1 Then use <CTRL><ALT>F7 and <CTRL><ALT>F8 to switch between the two sessions. They will be separate sessions, so you cannot copy/paste between them.
