I have a radeon 9000 video card, with TV-out,
I used the new radeon driver from XFree86 4.3, but it doesnt' seem to support
TV-out, because when I connect
the TV signal, then reboot, X fails and says
"No matching device found for BusID 01:05:01" ( I have a single Device section
in XF86Config), if I
put in two device sections, it says "No valid modes for BusID01:05:01 found",
if I take off the TV cable and boot again, works fine,
then I downloaded the ATI fglrx driver, and changed the XF86Config
accordingly, but this time , X says
it can't find the module, but I've done depmod already, and successfully
modprobed fglrx, with only
warning that it's not GPL.
but when I was using XFree86 4.2, fglrx could be used, although it's shifted
to the right of screen.
I attached my XFree86.0.log , any help is greatly apprreciated!
