It's not that simple.  I have a GeForce4 4xx Go laptop here that
works fine (a Toshiba).  Can you tell me the make and model of your laptop?

   Also, if your have a "font" key (the function key that toggles between
full screen and native), can you try hitting that to see if it changes
anything?
