I run a telnet server from a system running Red Hat 8.0. The server also runs the X window server. I can login into the telnet server from a Windows 200 Professional or Windows 98 running client as a user/root but I am unable to run the X server from the client machine. It gives the following error:
Fatal Server Error.
PAM Authentication failed. Maybe you donot have have console ownership rights?
And then it comes to the console again. I'd be obliged if you could help. Thanking you, Vikhyat Srivastava.
