My Compaq Presario 1525EA has a ATI IGP 340M graphic card, which is a "flavor" of ATI radeon mobility M6.
Though its device ID is not known by the X server (0x4337), I managed to run it with the radeon driver using ChipID=0x4c59 in the "device" section of XF86config, but I must turn off the accel. (Option "noaccel"). If I don't do this, the kernel can't load the agpgart module.
I believe the problem is that the AGP chipset (lspci gives 00:00.0 Host bridge: ATI Technologies Inc: Unknown device cab2 (rev 02)) is not known by that module.
Can someone tell me how to overcome this and use the full capabilities os my video card?
