I must be doing something really stupid, being a newbie and all.  I've got a SIS 650GL onboard graphics chipset on a Gigabyte motherboard. I'm running SUSE 8.0  with XFree86 3.2.99 I think.  When running the graphical setup I get multiple ghost screens overlapping each other making it impossible to see anything.  When using the text setup version I don't see any drivers for the SIS 650GL chipset.  The generic SIS driver works but the resolution is crummy at best and fonts are terrible.

Could someone please give the "dummies guide" type of advice to setting up the SIS 650GL. And getting the "graphical" version of the setup program to run properly.

Forever in the groups debt
