Hello, I had a perfectly working system (wolfenstein, mplayer etc) but hey, couldn't resist the temptation :) What I get now at startup is very puzzling, digging the google did not show at least one ocurrence of this error: GLX: Creating new client: 1! GLX: Creating new client: 2! ... GLX: Creating new client: 13! GLX: Too many clients!
I also get a Symbol __glXActiveScreens from module /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/extensions/libdri.a is unresolved! and glxinfo reports direct rendering: No Some additional info: slackware 8.1, kernel 2.4.20, ati radeon le, server glx version string: 1.2 GLX 0.9 Any hints on what causes the above errors would be very appreciated.
