Well, my hardware is running a AMD 761 (569 BGA) northbridge chipset, and a
VIA VT82C686B (352BGA) southbridge chipset. It's a K& Master motherbaord by
MSI. I have heard of VIA northbrisge controller problems beofre, but not with
the 761. Any debugging clues? I can recompile from source if need be with
debugging patches.

        Thanks!
