Greets all, PIII 866 Slackware 9 Xfree 4.3
Sorry if I am asking an obvious question. I am thinking of buying a GeForce 2 MX400, and after reading this: http://www.xfree86.org/~dawes/4.3.0/Status23.html#23 I get the impression that with xfree-4.3 I would not have to rely on the binary drivers from NVidia in order to get hardware acceleration.
